Did you know there is estimated to be 1.5 million animal species living today that have been scientifically categorized? That\u2019s an awful lot. Out of all 1.5 million species, only 1 has the ability to tell a narrative that explores the meaning of its own life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Storytelling is fundamentally important to being human. It\u2019s as necessary as food, water, sleep, & exercise. If we are unable to tell stories, or at least, truly appreciate them, we are lacking some of our humanity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love a good story. Especially one that makes me think and celebrates beauty. When I walk away from a story with a deep sigh, I know it was nutritious for my soul. What\u2019s especially amazing about storytelling is that it\u2019s not exclusive to any format. There are many ways in which we can tell stories, and all of them are equally special.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a world that is becoming more and more fixated on quick and easy entertainment, it\u2019s especially important to cultivate and discuss the art of storytelling. And not just any storytelling – Intentional <\/em>storytelling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone can tell a story. But can you tell a story that will make a difference? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

James Scott is the father of two toddlers, a husband of not two, but one, wife, and a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. When he\u2019s not working, he likes spending his time outdoors on lengthy walks, watching movies, reading a book in bed next to his wife, and listening to the Art of Manliness Podcast. Some things he does that are not nearly as preferable include: exercise, changing diapers, brushing his teeth, and slowly making his way through washing the never-ending pile of dirty dishes. Interests of his include Myers-Briggs personality theory, aquariums, and 2D Animation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
